BARBOURSVILLE - Investigators said they found more than 50 guns in the home of a Barboursville man accused of killing an Oak Hill man and his brother.

Rodney Bruce Black, 62, faced two counts of first-degree murder.  A search warrant affidavit showed the 54 firearms included 17 handguns and a variety of shotguns, rifles, and muzzleloaders.

Black was charged with fatally shooting Garrick Hopkins, 60, of Milton, and Carl Hopkins, Jr., 61, of Oak Hill, on Saturday.

Cabell County Sheriff Thomas McComas said that Black told 911 operators that he shot two people who were breaking into his outbuilding. McComas said Garrick Hopkins owned the outbuilding and the lot near Black's home.
