BECKLEY - A Raleigh Co. homeless shelter continues to welcome people without a place to go in the frigid temperatures.

Pine Haven shelter has more than 110 residents sheltering out of the arctic weather Tuesday evening.

They have 20 extra beds available because of the weather. Officials say when the temperature dips this low they won't turn anybody away.

Pine Haven has a backup generator in case of power loss, and can open its doors as an emergency center if necessary.

Officials at the shelter encourage anyone without a place to sleep to stop in.
