UPDATE:

SHADY SPRING - A second juvenile was arrested in connection to last week's investigation into terroristic threats made at Shady Spring High School.

Officials with the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office said the second suspect was apprehended Thursday morning without incident.  Both juveniles were charged with making terroristic threats and remain in custody at this time.

Detectives said they believe that all people responsible for the threats have been apprehended and that this particular situation was resolved.

Superintendent Jim Brown said legal action is being pursued. He hopes that sends a message to deter similar crimes. "If students are going to make threats that place employees and students at risk, we're going to use the full extent of the law to make sure we remove that threat from the school," Brown explained.

Investigators said they're thankful for members of the community that made them aware of the issue.
