CHARLESTON - Drivers felt even less pain at the pumps this week.  The cost of a gallon of gas dropped more than five cents.

AAA East Central said the average cost for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline is $3.26 in West Virginia.  That's 28 cents cheaper than at this time last year.

The nation's gas average was $3.18 per gallon, which was the lowest it's been since February 2011.
