UPDATE 11/13/13 - An inmate who escaped from The Beckley Correctional Center on Monday is back in custody.

Michael Lee Morrison was captured Friday. He was scheduled to be picked up from Bellacino's and was unaccounted for. He's serving a one to 10 year term on a forging or uttering other writing charge out of Webster County.

BECKLEY - A work release inmate at the Beckley Correctional Center was reported missing Monday night.

Michael Lee Morrison, 29, was scheduled to be picked up from Bellacino's at 11:30 p.m. and was unaccounted for.  Morrison was described as a white man with black hair and blue eyes.  He's 5'6" and weighs about 180 pounds.  Officials say he has multiple tattoos including: "Tough" on top of his right hand, "Venus" on the front part of his lower right leg, "Torque" the the back of his torso, a tear drop on the left side of his face, a rose and heart on the upper part of his left arm, "Love" on top of his left hand, praying hands on the back of his right forearm, and "Joyride" on the center of his back.

Morrison was originally serving one to ten years for a forging or uttering charge out of Webster County. A warrant for his arrest was issued in Raleigh County Magistrate Court for felony escape.
