BECKLEY - The West Virginia Dance Company comes to Woodrow Wilson High School Saturday night to tell the story of the coal mining industry in the Appalachians. The performance was free to the public thanks to a grant from the National Coal Heritage Area Authority. West Virginia native Toneta Akers-Toler choreographed the dance to depict life from the turn of the century to the 1920s. Their next free performance will be November 17th at 2 PM at Huntington High School.
