CHARLESTON - Congressman Nick Rahall says he is ready to help state firefighters and emergency response teams secure grant money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA will soon be accepting applications to its Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. This money will help departments purchase equipment, boost training, and even hire more staff. Rahall says these grants are key to ensuring the safety of West Virginia communities. The application period runs from November fourth through December sixth.
