Tomblin ordered flags to be lowered in honor of Navy Yard shooting victims

CHARLESTON - Governor Ear Ray Tomblin ordered all United States and West Virginia state flags to be lowered to half-staff until Friday night in honor of the victims of Monday's shootings at the Washington Navy Yard.

Tomblin said, "The senseless tragedy weighs heavily on the hearts and minds of all of us."

His order came in accordance with President Barack Obama's proclamation.
