OAK HILL - Police are investigating an early morning Oak Hill fire that destroyed one home as a possible case of arson.
The Sheriff's Department says the fire happened around 6 a.m. at a house on North Errington Road in the Prudence area of Oak Hill. They say the house was not occupied at the time because the owner is currently in jail on drug charges. Investigators found evidence that the home was burglarized before being destroyed and that the fire was started in the living room. They do have a person of interest in this case but no arrests have been made at this time. If you have any information on this case contact the Fayette County Sheriff's Department or Crimestoppers.
