MULLENS - Two people were arrested Sunday after Mullens Police executed the fourth search warrant in 16 days as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Tony Hudgins, 36, and Virginia Hudgins, 26, both of Mullens, were both lodged in Southern Regional Jail. Tony was charged with possession with the intent to deliver Oxycotin and marijuana. He was on probation for drug charges prior to his arrest and was held on $25,000 cash only bond. Virginia faced two counts of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance.
According to Mullens Police Chief Ray Toler, officers with his department, the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office, and West Virginia State Police, found money, food stamp cards, Oxycotin, Xanax, and marijuana when they executed a search warrant at a residence on Moran Avenue.
Mullens police continue to investigate and said more charges are pending.
