BECKLEY - Many more were out walking today for another cause, one that will help fight a disease that has taken it's toll on so many people here in the mountain state.
It's the 17th annual Beckley-Oak Hill walk to end Alzheimer's disease at Appalachian Bible College. According to the Alzheimer's Association there are about 5.4 million Americans living with the disease and more than 48,000 of them are right here in West Virginia. Participants are encouraged to raise $100 for the walk to help find a cure.
