NICHOLAS COUNTY - A man accused of killing a family of four from Greenbrier County pleads guilty to four counts of first degree murder. Nicholas County prosecuting attorney P.K. Milam says 27-year-old James Belknap pleaded guilty in circuit court for murdering Steven Hendrix, his girlfriend Amber Martin and two of Hendrix's young children. The victims' bodies were found stripped days later on Brushy Meadow Creek Road in Nicholas County. Police believe the homicides stemmed from a drug deal gone wrong. Belknap was originally scheduled to go to trial August 13th. His sentencing date has not yet been set, but Milam says it will likely be sometime this fall.
