Police search for suspect in WalMart theft

LEWISBURG - The Lewisburg Police Department asked for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing from WalMart.

Lt. Jeromy Dove said the unknown suspect wore a black tank top and was seen driving a red Pontiac.  The suspect was accused of taking a 39" Emerson Television from it's box and several other items worth about $753.33.  Petit larceny is punishable by up to a year in prison and a fine of up to $2,500.
