UPDATE:

BECKLEY - Police arrested one of the suspects in Sunday night's armed robbery in Beckley, and the other suspect is still on the loose.

Police said John Nathan Collins, 34, of Beckley was charged with aggrevated robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony. Authorities found him fleeing on-foot in the Daniels area around 3:20 p.m. on Monday. The U.S. Marshall's CUFFED (Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division) Task Force and Parole Service were involved in the search.

The other suspect, a white woman between 5-feet-4-inches and 5-feet-7-inches and between 25 and 30 years-old, is still on the loose.

Police said the robbery happened just before 10 p.m. Sunday at Miss Alice's II on South Eisenhower Drive. The suspects had a gun and demanded money from an employee.

Afterward, they left in a black car with an undisclosed amount of money.

Detective M.G. Bragg said the remaining suspect could be armed and dangerous. "The fact that there was a firearm brandished, we would consider these people dangerous to go to those lengths in general," Bragg explained. "We would ask anybody to not approach [her] and contact their local law enforcement."

Anyone who recognizes the remaining suspect or who has information on the robbery is asked to call Beckley Police at 304-256-1708 or Crime Stoppers at 304-255-STOP.
