CHARLESTON - The Department of Commerce is making sure that students across the state will be involved in West Virginia's 150th birthday celebration.  They are organizing an art contest that is open to students from kindergarten through twelth grade, and the winning artwork will be featured at the Capitol during the birthday bash in June.  The winning artists will also receive Kindles.  The themes will include illustrations that emphasize the Mountain State's unique qualities.
