BOSTON- A third person has been confirmed dead in the explosion at the Boston Marathon Monday afternoon.
Of the three people killed, one is said to be an 8-year-old. More than 100 people have been reported injured and sent to area hospitals, some critical.
According to AP A White House official says the investigation into Monday's bombings in Boston is being treated as terrorism. President Barack Obama did not use that word when he spoke at the White House after the incident, saying investigators "do not know who did this or why" and urging people not to jump to conclusions. But he vowed that those responsible "will feel the full weight of justice."
