HICO- Police need the public's help in location three suspects wanted in connection with an attempted robbery at a home where a child was inside.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Department says the incident happened around 2pm Friday afternoon in the area of O'Possum Creek Road of Hico. A child who was home alone locked herself in a room and set her family dogs loose to confront the suspects. They fled from the house in a green van with black rear hatch door. The vehicle is possibly a dodge caravan and may have West Virginia registration with the license plate 6UR827. It left the home in the direction of Milroy Grose Rd.
One of the suspects is described as a white man that has closely trimmed white or light blonde beard. The driver of the van is a red-headed woman. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fayette County 911 Center at (304)574-1610.
