BOOMER - Three Kanawha County residents were arrested on drug charges in Fayette County.
Jason Payne, 31, of Marmet, Amanda Payne, 32, also of Marmet, and Brittany Ramsey, 25, of Cedar Grove, were all arrested after deputies made a traffic stop and said they found a large sum of money and 30 milligram Roxycodone pills in the vehicle. The three were each charged with felony possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony. They're all in Southern Regional Jail waiting for their arraignments.
Through their investigation, deputies also searched a nearby residence that belonged to Macon Fragale. Officers said they seized a substantial amount of cash allegedly related to drug sales.
The incident remains under investigation.
