BECKLEY - One of Raleigh County's finest is recognized Thursday for coming to the aid of another officer's wife.  Corporal G.B. Cade of the Sheriff's Department was honored for his efforts assisting a distraught motorist.  Cade answered a call for a possible DWI in the Bradley area back in 2011.  On arrival at the parked vehicle, he discovered the driver was in diabetic shock.  After the patient was taken to a local hospital, Cade learned the patient was the wife of a local state trooper.  He says he was glad to come to the aid of someone who also protects and serves the community.
