Dispatchers confirm that the fatal accident happened around 9:00 a.m. near mile marker three on the Southbound lane right before the East River Mountain Tunnel in Bluefield.  They also said that the tractor trailer wrecked on the median. State police, Green Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and Bluefield Rescue all responded.
