Copper stolen from Mount Hope house

MOUNT HOPE - A family in Mount Hope is trying to put the pieces together after their property was burglarized.

Homeowner Suzy Keaton said copper was stolen in areas throughout the house, including water lines. She explained the house is being renovated as a rental property, so no one was home during the robbery.

Keaton said it's going to be very expensive to repair the house, and she has a warning for local residents. "I think the best thing would just be if everybody watches out for themselves and everyone else," she said.

Another home may have been robbed last night as well, according to Keaton, who said Mount Hope Police are looking into possible links. NEWSWATCH could not reach Police for details. Anyone with information is asked to call them.
