A brutal crime in Mercer County leaves one person in the hospital and the other behind bars.

State Police got a call around 9 PM Friday at a home in Princeton.  When they arrived they say it was a very bloody, disturbing scene.  The victim had been tied up with electrical cords, his throat was sliced, all in his own home.  He was immediately taken to a local hospital where he is currently in critical condition.

Roy Williams, 41, was brought in for questioning Saturday and was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder,  Malicious Wounding, Kidnapping and Armed Robbery.

Police say this is an on going investigation.  Williams is in Southern Regional Jail and through his parole Williams' bond was revoked.

Police say this possibly could have all stemmed from drug activity.
