Friday Hospice of Southern West Virginia kicked Christmas season off by remembering loved ones that were part of Hospice.
Families placed an angel ornament on trees at the Crossroads Mall of their lost family member. St. Drancis de Sales choir was also there to help celebrate by singing carols. Hospice looks at this as a positive event for both them and the community.
"It's a win, win for both the community and for us. You know we do this so we can reach out to the community and remember a loved one and also we receive a little bit of money that helps us do what we do in our community. We serve Raleigh, Fayette, Summers and Wyoming counties. We rely on that money to perform on the services that we do," said Josh Jones, Public Relations Director.
If you weren't able to come to the ceremony Friday, you can still purchase an angel ornament through Hospice.
