Soggy Start to Work Week Ahead!
Good Evening Everyone!
Hope you got to enjoy a day that could be described as a bit
cool and with a lot of fall feel to it. If you enjoyed a day like today, well
tomorrow is right up your alley. I am not placing the chance of a shower in the
forecast, but in the far northern part of the viewing area….a stray sprinkle
could put of a damper. Otherwise, a mix of sunshine and clouds and temperatures
should be a couple degrees warmer. Upper 60s and low 70s expected through the
region. If you are looking to do some yard work around the house, you might
want to take advantage of tomorrow. Into early next week, a low pressure from
the Gulf of Mexico will swing in a lot of tropical moisture across the Gulf
Coast. As it does this, it will bring bands of showers and storms across the
region. This will get started late Monday evening and linger through the day on
Tuesday and a stray shower Wednesday could still be possible. We dry things out
for Thursday and a very potent cold front could be on tap for the weekend. If
you thought it was cold Monday and Tuesday of last week, indications are that
temperatures could take a big tumble next weekend. Brrrrrrr.
