OAK HILL -- Rosedale elementary school in oak hill is prepping their kitchen for the start of tomorrow. With all the food in boxes, staff cleaned the kitchen today before starting cooking.

Others helped in stocking the milk fridge and thawing out food to cook for tomorrow. While times may be tough for families, Rosedale is giving families a piece of mind when it comes breakfast and lunch.

Jenetta Settle, the cafeteria manager at Rosedale Elementary, says “for the next 5 years through the levy through the parents and people that have children passed it and now that we get 5 years of free lunches and breakfast which will be great for all kids.”

School officials say they're expecting as many as 270 kids tomorrow for the first day.
