BECKLEY - A New Jersey man was sentenced to almost five years in jail for possession with the intent to distribute oxycodone.

William Ponder, 24, of Teaneck, previously pleaded guilty in October.  Ponder admitted that he illegally possessed the drugs.  U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin said the pills were seized during the execution of a search warrant at a home in Mabscott, where Ponder was temporarily staying.
